We had a similar thread last year, and like it, I will update this one with the movement as it happens and next season's roster takes shape. Obviously, all the players in red that are set to return, won't. And others will be added via the portal. But I'll keep this updated and keep track of it as it all unfolds. As always, let me know of any errors/mistakes.

Also, keep in mind, there are 13 scholarship spots available per season. As of now, Alabama is +2 (15 scholarshipped players), which means at a minimum, 2 of the following will not return.

It's never happened. On any Bama forum.

I've been in this "Internet business" since the mid '90's and have never seen the amount of attention paid to Bama basketball as we're seeing now.

You can make almost any body do that. My son’s bass boat can do that as well. Now he probably is using a nautique/wakesetter or something along those lines, because of the $$$$ he’s worth…..

I bought a six pack of beer this morning. I just went to the fridge, I have none. I haven't had a beer today. Now...have had several friends over today that I said, "there's beer in the fridge." So. I dug this grave.

I can't find a way to embed or even link it... maybe someone else can. Not sure why Bleacher Report wants to get as few views as possible out of their stuff, but that's their call... Anyway, it's a good interview with informative answers from Oats. The same thing that tends to put him in the danger zone at times in front a mic, his no filter, what you see is what you get approach, also makes for some really good interviews... he gives zero canned or cliché responses like many many in his position would.

Aiden Sherrell breakdown

Very excited about Sherrell. I think he's pretty raw, but got serious potential and good footwork for a big man. Wish there was more tape on him.

The exciting thing about him is his capability to knock down 3s. Outside of Reese, I don't think we've had a 5 that can hit outside the arc.

Preston Murphy Details Recruiting Approach for Alabama Basketball

“For me, it’s all based on basketball. I was fortunate enough to play some high level basketball, and fortunate enough to have some really good coaches in my life that I played for and worked for," Murphy said. "I worked for [Dan] Hurley, [Greg] McDermott, Al Skinner, I played for Jim Harrick. I think that it’s a basketball-first approach. I think I’m able to recruit guys because of the basketball I’ve learned that I want to give back to those guys. Player development is huge part of it, helping these guys grow along their path so they can become the best player they can be. I look at it as less of recruiting, and more being a basketball mind that can help those guys reach their full potential."

Jarin Stevenson highlights. Had his best game against Clemson when we needed him. Really hope he becomes more consistent and can be more of player on D. I think we were all hoping he would be a Clowney clone, but he wasn't. That said, I have really high expectations in his second year.

Every time I see clips from the Clemson, you'll see the slight adjustment Oats made that tore their defense up. They were over committing on the ball handler to disrupt and immediately tried to swallow the outlier pass. What they didn't account for was the extra pass in either the corner or the slip screen.
