We had a similar thread last year, and like it, I will update this one with the movement as it happens and next season's roster takes shape. Obviously, all the players in red that are set to return, won't. And others will be added via the portal. But I'll keep this updated and keep track of it as it all unfolds. As always, let me know of any errors/mistakes.

Also, keep in mind, there are 13 scholarship spots available per season. As of now, Alabama is +2 (15 scholarshipped players), which means at a minimum, 2 of the following will not return.

In black with the knee brace! Now this was 36 years ago and around 50lbs too! I had a coach offer me a scholarship as an OLB based on my vertical at camp, 38”!!

With the addition to the roster and Sears and Stevenson both coming back the expectation for this team will be crazy high.... If they live up to the hype it should be the best season and Bama basketball history. Hard to believe the hype but it is hard to ignore the roster.

I think there's a few things that go into a team winning it all in basketball... luck is part of the equation. But also in the equation, IMO:

Great guard play =
Depth =
Efficient Offense =
Efficient Defense = Predicting a
NCAA Tournament experience =
A head coach that knows how to win in March & April =

It would be insane if Bama could make a another deep run. But, as good as this team could be, I think the expectations need to be a little deflated. I think we really over achieved big time this past season. I had zero confidence in them getting past the first weekend in the tournament this year.

Another sweet 16 in 2025 to me would be an excellent season.

Guard play. That might be the most important in the tournament. Killed Auburn this year.

Not so sure the last one helped them much either... and I think Pearl is a really good coach, but he's shits himself way too many times in March.

Don't disagree at all. Pearl can recruit, hype up a crowd, get a fanbase involved, but seems to find a way to drop the ball in the biggest moments. He did the same thing at UT.

I mean, what has Auburn really done since 2019?
