BYU needs to run their two minute offense the entire game. Had not done crap offensively the whole first half. Get the ball with 36 seconds left at their 18 and go 82 yards in 3 plays in 30 seconds.

I've always enjoyed SVP's Sportscenter and with that I've stopped and paid attention when his "Bad Beats" segment airs. In turn, I think Stanford Steve's bit has been pretty good.

So, I have ESPN's GameDay on one of my monitors and noticed this:

I'm not making fun of this: well, maybe a little. I went 9-9 last weekend but that also ended up being right at a +$68,000 weekend on the season. 1-1 going into today at +$2500 or so.

Did I hear correctly, first time in 35 years that Kentucky is favored over Florida?

I don't care for the line: the total looks ripe for an over at 44.
I had this in my mind to be a 27-21 game. I'm watching UK at 33-14 and thinking that score doesn't shock me, but UK did a bit. They've played well.

The only way UF could win this game was getting Stoops to a "last minute/crunch call." Florida stumbled when they got off the bus.

For what this is worth.

Penn State is 5-0 both ATS and SU this season. They are off next week and have UMASS visiting the following weekend. IF there's a spread posted, it'll be here virtue of it being a top 25 spread.

How are you even, and still up? Even with the vig? I don't bet often and I think I understand why. How do you go even, and still be up?
1) It's a game.
2) Why would I share something I've learned.
3) IF you have the money, the same principle can be applied in real life.
4) There is such a thing as buying insurance when wagering on college football. And occasionally, you still lose your ass. But, the house does not always win. (Literally, a book making operation overseas in France lost money last weekend.)
5) The house does not always win.

Dang! He’s a little worse than the Bear! And makes a lot of money for his segment, I’m sure.
They are both horrible at their jobs. And here's the thing. IF you wager on sports and can get it right 55% of the time, you're making money. It's really not that hard. You just have to watch football—and think a bit. And that's what kills me. These guys are paid to watch football. And don't. All you have to do is listen to them talk.

I went 9-4 this weekend. Not my best weekend in this game, but one of the better ones.
