That was a problem for both him and Deionte, moreso for Mack. They bought into all the media hype for them. Mack has all the physical talent needed but his problem is in between the ears. I think Deionte has both but I think he completely bought all the hype and let off in the late season. Not necessarily sitting out to save himself for the draft but letting up in his intensity. Those scouts saw that and hence why he dropped from a possible 1st or early 2nd round pick to like the 12th S taken.
