If Reuben thinks he's had a bumpy ride, he doesn't have to look any further than what has happened to Ohio State corner Gareon Conley draft status, who is a projected 1st round pick. No opportunity to clear himself before the draft of sexual assault. This reminds me of the recent situation with the OT from LSU, La'el Collins, who a few days before the draft was suspected of a double homicide in the death of his pregnant girlfriend. He ended up not being drafted, but through his agent told the teams he would refuse to sign with any team after the 3rd round. No one picked him and he was later exonerated and signed with Dallas as a free agent. Given the same eventuality, you would hope if the teams in the first couple of rounds don't pick Conley, like Collins, you would be better off financially coming in as a free agent.

Couple of betting sites have our first round choices at O/U 4.5 and OJ Howard going at O/U 9.5. Think I'll take the over on both. Foster's issue is not that damning in the scheme of things like the Ohio State guy, so I think he still gets drafted in the first round. Howard I think will be a mid round selection.

If I’m an NFL team, Foster’s “behavior” is the least of my worries. Very few of these elite players are saints, and Foster hasn’t done anything too terribly egregious. Now, if they want to balk at him because of his history of concussions and medical issues, that’s more than fair. There character issues are being way overplayed though... there’s another UA player with much bigger issues there. I could see Howard and Allen both falling some, but teams love them. Humphrey is the guy that intrigues me. Dude could possibly slip in at the end of round 1, or drop a good ways... lots of opinions on him by teams, but most don’t have him high on their board. Second most intriguing is Cam Robinson... which teams view him at a G, which teams view him as a tackle? Broncos apparently like him at tackle which raises his value. I hope Dalvin Tomlinson ends up with a solid team and has a long and prosperous career. There will be a lot of value in ArDarius if he’s still there in the mid-3rd, especially if he falls to Saturday.

So the Western Michigan WR goes #5 overall despite never running a post season timed 40?! With drop concerns, apparently.

I have such a hard time understanding this entire process. What matters, what doesn't matter, priorities, upside, etc... Seems like by draft day they're blindly throwing darts. The combine is like the end all/be all event that may or may not mean anything to teams lol

ESPN is completely whiffing on a lot of their projections as well.

I read a few folks opinions that said this year was a tough one to predict. That being said, remember to look at this with a +/- two-three spot movement.

DFW high schools have 3 of the first 6 - Garrett, Thomas, and Adams.

1 QB and 2 RB's in the first 8 picks.... :bolt:

No way that many running backs and quarterbacks go in the first round. It's hard for a running back to go early now day because of their life expectancy in the NFL and this QB class is not well thought of.

I think you will see a bunch defensive picks, a bunch of o_linemen, a few wide receivers and tight ends, 1 running back and maybe 2 QB' s

Interesting.. but again, I doubt that three Qb's go in the first round. Mahomes would be a huge stretch to me for aa franchise that continually makes bad mistakes picking up QB's. If I was them I would be ringing Cincinatti's phone off the hook for AJ McCarron and trade out of that pick. I just don't see much value in these QB's this year. Deshaun looked good in a couple games against us but reminds me of a new age version of Randall Cunningham.. good arm, good runner but maybe to thin to play in the NFL for long. Trubinsky has some things going for him but to me he is still a reach in the first 10 picks.
