I was watching the highlights from the season..... do you remember the MTSU game (I think) where Drake had a big play going down the sideline and got caught/tripped up from behind...... very similar to the TD in the national championship game...... that time he wouldn't be denied Lol

I thought he was better than A'Shawn the last 2 years. Their measurables are really close, but A'Shawn's weight seems like more muscle and Reed a little more chubby.

I would still give the edge to A'Shaw based off sheer athleticism and his versatility. Not many d-linemen out there can play every single spot on the line and play it well.

Yeah, A'Shawn is just an athletic freak. Reed should do well for a 3-4 team, A'Shawn could play for either a 3-4 or a 4-3 team, which makes him a little more valuable.

Reed could play in a 4-3 too tho, he'd be an awesome 3-technique in a 4-3. He just cant play the 5 in a 4-3 or a 1 in the 3-4 like A'Shawn can.

I am sure he could but Reed would be more valuable to a 3-4 team. He is more of a pure NG, whereas A'Shawn might not be the best pure NG, he is better overall, like you said, you can move him around anywhere and he is just as effective.

I think Reed is more valuable as an end in the 3-4.
