OSU set the record (10) for most picks in first 3 rounds and that is impressive, but it got me thinking...Bama had 7 and had J. Allen not been hurt and OJ Howard declared, we would surely have had 9. I also think that Reu. Foster and Eddie J. would both have had a good shot at being taken in rounds 1-3. That would have Bama at 11. Under the circumstances, I'm glad the Suckeyes set the record and not the Tide.

Typical Urban team w/o the hardware, they should have been playing for for the trophy but... Probably 4-5 of those 10 were HUGE reaches by GM's.

Without the hardware? Those players won the National Title two years, beating Bama in the process if you recall... I dont like Urby either but how is this class much different than Alabama's 2011 Draft Class with all those first rounders and NFL Talent that were on the 2010 team that massively under performed. It happens with all star teams sometimes. Its a bit ridiculous to take away from the talent that was on that team. They had three QBs on the roster that would likely start for 90% of major schools for God's sake.

Let's see what Urban does in the next 5 years with that talent.
