What happened between the LSU and MSU game ???

At least it was an early game.

We seem to be scared to be in a lofty position. Losing tonight really doesn't hurt our tournament case that much. It was expected. The next two games are absolute must wins though. Can't afford a second bad home loss.

That said, a tourney appearance would be great. But, to give this team something to build on, would you rather see a deep run and chance to win the NIT or a March Madness appearance where getting to the round of 16 would be above any reasonable expectation.

I saw someone mention this a week or so ago and I'm still thinking about the scenarios.

I keep coming back to wanting to see how they do in the SECC tourney. If this team could make it to Saturday in the SEC's, I'm thinking let's see what they can do in the dance. If the season ended today they'd be looking at UArk then UK. A loss in either of those two games and I'd look forward to the NIT—especially with the frosh and soph's in this group.

Even if I knew ahead of time we'd be one and done in the dance, I want us to get there to get a taste of it.
