Good: I wondered how well Dunbar would work with the DL with the "loss" of Bo Davis. I don't wonder anymore. It's been a fun group to watch this season.

Bad: While it is understandable due to being a frosh, I've got to put this on Jalen and turnovers. You guys know what I've said all along, "with me, it's about efficiency." I H.A.T.E. turnovers. HATE!

Ugly: The right tackle position on the offensive line. Shank, out with concussion issues. Casher, broken foot against Florida. And, I'm just getting started. Talk about a "snake-bit" position this season.

Good- I'll add the OLB position and the job Tosh has done with Ryan Anderson, Tim Williams, and company.
Bad- agree with ball security from our QB position.
Ugly- the RG position has been a turnstile. Shank, Cotton, Kirven, Casher. Can we please anchor someone in there?

Good: Finding a way to win the Ole Siss game, this show us what kind of a QB we were seeing growing in to a Bama player.

Bad: Being that he been the QB almost from the being, by now he should be playing like a Fosh QB and not a Fresh QB.

Ugly: Both of you are right on the button here. Music chairs is what RG been playing this year.

Good: The depth and cohesiveness of the entire defense. Very little drops off if #56 #54 or even #93 are replaced with #47 #94 or #9. Maybe only the back end has shown minor drop with guys learning new positions. The LB core has been steadfast even through injuries as well.

Bad: I don't even know if its bad or just what is expected. Jalen doesn't seem to have progressed a lot with seeing the field from game #1 to game #12. Most of the TV shots that pan back on throw-aways or in-completions show a lot of missed opportunities with some receivers.

Ugly: Jalen's hit at Ole Miss. We absolutely can't have those olays.. (ironically spelled o'le) or we'll being trotting Cornwell out for the rest of the season and revamping the offense.

Good: The continued development of players. Look at how far Reuben Foster has come, look at how distinguished Johnathan Allen looks and jumped the media biased Miles Garrett in mock drafts, Tim Williams learning to play more doens, Averrett's blossoming into a great corner, Minkah taking over for Eddie, Damien Harris looking lightyears better and like a Top 5 back, as well as Bo kicking it up when given the chance, Jacobs emerging as a star, Ardarius Stewart taking the next step. Every year we wonder who will take the reigns and who is going to step up. Well, we have seen it happen again this year and I have no doubt we'll see it again next year.

Bad: The defensive backfield has worried me all year and still does. Minkah and Humphrey are my main focus as they just love giving up the deep ball. They are killer in run coverage, but deep balls have been an issue for two years now. Minkah is a killer safety, but lacks as an every down corner in my opinion. Humphrey needs another year and will get ate up in the NFL with what he has shown me.

Ugly: Our downfield passing game. Hard to hit downfield with the garbage play calling, but we have also missed a lot! Now sure, True Freshman quarterback, totally understandable. Hurts has made up for it with his great running ability and hitting some passes here and there. Ridley has been underutilized to me and the downfield game is the problem. It's getting better, but I still see it as something the coaches should be spending time on. of course, who needs it when your backs are eating up six yards per carry, with the defense knowinh what's coming?

Good: I really have been pleased with each position coach. Coach Scott Cochran is so valuable to our team as a whole. And if I had to single out just one it is Coach Burns. He has done an excellent job with our running backs.

Bad: My expectations of the starting OL based on media reports from their viewing window. Not one time has that lineup started. Hats off to our OL coaches. They have done the most impressive job of teaching them how to protect a freshman QB.

Ugly: I was ugly enough but never strong or mean enough to play on the DL. Our DL coaches have made this unit probably the best ever. Coach Bryant would be proud.

Good - I thought back in the day when I was a kid growing up, I never imagined that Alabama football could be any better (from the mid 60's to 1980 era). Thought there wouldn't be another run like that in the history of the Tide or college football.... boy was I wrong and will gladly admit it. :-)

Bad - My pucker factor whenever we try a FG.

Ugly, Nasty, on a Good Level - Our defense..... let it sink in, you're playing for the SEC championship, you are there for a reason and the best you got is 0 yards rushing on 30 tries. You're ranked 6th in the nation in rushing (Auburn), but yet you get only 66 yards on 26 tries. 14 non offensive touchdowns for the season.... That my friend, is impressive on any level.:tank:
