🏈 2011 A-Day game?

Does anyone have the Date for the 2011 A-day game??? planning a trip for the spring and would like to meke the game this year:a:

We need to pack the house to regain the spring game record set by Ohio State last year.

I want the same trip, but if I remember correectly the date was selected painfully late. That is one thing that they have to work on...scheduling the game as if it is a real game. If they expect 101K to show up, they have to help us help them.

If Saban uses the same schedule that he has used the past two years, spring practice will begin on March 11th and conclude with A-Day on April 16th. Again, that's assuming he uses the same off-season schedule.

Just FYI, from searching the net, it appears the last two Spring Game dates were announced on Jan 16 so I would look for an announcement around that time. If memory serves me correctly, I believe last year, after ESPN decided to televise a full slate of Spring Games, a few teams actually adjusted their schedule for ESPN. Oregon, for example, I believe moved their game from April 24 to May 1 because ESPN was televising Ohio State on April 24. With Alabama finishing the season with three or four loses, I could see us shift the game if ESPN offered big $$$ to televise the game but already had someone else scheduled for April 16.

ESPN televising games is a double edged sword. I like that we are getting the TV love, but unlike the regular season where you know that it is only a question of what time the game is on a known day, this spring game stuff makes planning impossible for some.

I heard today that A-Day will indeed be on 4/16, but as of yet I don't see it in a press release or anything.
