I like the idea of expanding the footprint. Give me Northern Illinois and App State.

Another answer, and this is cheating, but let's kick out Mizzou, TAMU, South Carolina, and Arkansas. Then grab Georgia Tech, Tulane, and promote Sewanee all the way to the FBS to add them too. All just for the amusement of having the original SEC back together.

Why on earth would you want the state of Alabama to have three SEC teams with other states having one?

Alabama would have two in this case, just like Georgia.

I think I would look at Memphis and (either Southern Miss, Tulane or App State).
This is tough because I can't think of a group of 5 that would really add anything to the SEC.
If region wasn't an issue I might consider Boise State (so they could find out what it's like to play real football every week.)

Now, that is a good question.....
I wasn't thinking of that part of the Memphis thing, I was just trying to think who might have the best chance to be competitive on the field.

Ucf and Troy would bring the most quality and consistency from what I have seen.

I’d be interested in teams that would expand our footprint in a TV market we are not normally viewed in but really not interested in giving Georgia another cupcake to play.

I was thinking the Dallas/Ft. Worth market but I cant use TCU because they are Power 5 and that only leaves SMU. I did go with Cincinnati because of the viewing area.
