🧑‍🍳 Your choice. What's wrong with this bill for your meal?

For starters, it's over 1200-freakin'-dollars!

Wagyu Ribeye for $195? No thanks. Yes, I know Wagyu is supposed to be the best type of beef and all that, but give me a nice PLAIN Ribeye and I'll be just as happy.
And Opus One (had to look that one up)? I don't drink wine so there's no damn way I'm spending even $6 on a bottle.
Crab cake (singular) for $15? Again...NO!
Basically, everything on there is WAY overpriced.

They're basically a steakhouse that looks fancy so they charge outrageous prices.

It's worth the money even if it's just once. Here it's market priced. The last time I looked it was $24 an ounce, maybe a dollar or two more? No, I'm not buying 8 ounces. A few bites every now and then? Yeah. Even still, a decent ribeye at a place like Halls is going to cost. There's a reason a glass of wine costs what it does. One glass and you'll know.

Still, that's a two or three times a year trip with a group of friends. My "steak joints" are places few know and those that have seen one tend to get scared looking at the outside of the building.
