What I see a lot missing is how much this whole story reads just like Ole Miss.

If you don't recall, when he was hired in Oxford his first OC choice was...? Kiffin. He was turned down as Kiff decided to stay at USC. He fired Dan Werner (the same OC Freeze used and Bama hired as an analyst) and brought in Noel Mazzone. YEP! Another retread from Auburn who'd also been on the Ole Miss staff previous to the Orgeron hire.

Now, we've got Orgeron and Canada not seeing eye to eye (see Org and Werner) and he goes to a system that didn't work in the past (Ensminger, retread from Auburn with the same philosophy.)

It seems to me the QB with the most potential is Brennan--one of the dual threat guys he refers to in this piece. BUT, he's hired a OC and QB coach who "made his bones" in a pro-style attack. Is that a fit? We're talking a guy who is basically a career long offensive coordinator who, at the young age of 60, is now going to change his philosophy? I just don't see this as working.

They aint happy....first with O...and double down ing with OC E....
Add in Alleva ( the AD)....and it really great reading....

This should help continue the slow and steady decline of LSU back to lower mid tier status. Probably supplanted by tamu and/or arky in less than 2 years as far as talent and record.

I meant what I said. They are going to lose more and more players over the next few years that they would have gotten 10 years ago. Tamu arky and others are going to step into Louisiana and tamu is going to take much more of Texas than ever before.

I dont now...LSU football culture is pretty strong......Bama...yeah...maybe Texas....i dont know...
But AnM....and Jimbo....fully agree...they are going to really get the comp up with Texas....and they might steal a LA boy...or 2.. jimbo at AnM will be interesting....
