What is it with BAMA and the backlash it always receives no matter the situation?

Some of you may have seen the Mal Moore letter sent out to the Tide Pride people earlier in the week. If not, you can read it here in this link. Check out the Tulane board response. Interestingly, the one person that seems to cut us some slack is the guy raised in Alabama as an Auburn fan.

On a similar note:
I went on a "tour", if you will of all the boards in the SEC, for the past couple of days, and while MOST would welcome friendly football talk, and respect your team, some were just mean for the sake of being mean.
Far and away the most friendly group (and surprising to me) was the LSU Tigers@ Tigerforum.
The worst (and not surprising) was the Tenn Vols@ Volnation.com
I was extremly respectful to all groups and most responded with some good conversation. But not all.

I'm almost tempted to join their board and tell them that the next time they want to send the low life pieces of feces up here during a hurricane. They can politely kiss our proverbial arse!! I have friends who are cops that have had to stand guard and keep the piece so to speak at several of our Junior colleges, which closed classes all week to house the crackheads.

Meanwhile they take them to Wal-mart to pick some necessities such as underwear, etc. BMG'ing the whole time because somebody is not there to give them something..............what happens. Several of them get arrested for shoplifting. Talk about being thankful in the face of someones good graces. Minus Crimson Pirate....I wouldn't mind if the entire state of inbred coon-ass toothless nutria rat eating pukes got washed out to sea.........................I digress

I know that at Jeff State's Jefferson Campus on Carson Rd. they shut the school on Tues... they shut it down because the evacuees from the 9th ward were housed at our gym and were beginning to rob the students... needless to say when i went to class wed. there were a TON of B'ham cops and campus police...

Amazingly, some how North Texas has managed to field their worst team in years. Amazing only because for the past few years, North Texas has had the worst team in football, so it’s hard to imagine how they could get any worse. I can.

The evacuees who are being housed at the local community college in my hometown have all been gracious, appreciative, and very polite.

It's like the whole "their fans are so unclassy!" argument. Every fan base has them, and every fan base bitches and complains about the other team's bunch.

I have a lot of friends who go to Louisiana schools - one who was an All-Conference punter for the Green Wave recently

Yea at one of the Community Colleges around here that is housing the refugees there have been several fights break out and a lot of police activity. But as said early, not ALL refugees are unappreciative and disrespectful.
