I have been a here a few times so no flaming.
TOUGH TOUGH GAME..........momentum changes all nite.
JPW threw the ball damned good and moved around
with skill. Julio is the best receiver I have seen
in awhile, like Randy Moss. Bama is a very solid team and is right there with the top 4-5. Should be a playoff with the them UF, USC, Texas and Okla.
But this SEC game was our playoff. This game was like those early title games in the 90s. Two tough teams
going at it until something gave. Your coach can recruit and motivate. I think you can finally say the Tide is back for sure (if the guy hangs around).
I hollered at the refs and at CBS (THEY NEVER SHOW REPLAYS) a few times but it was a clean game and hard as hell hitting. Beat the sh#t out of the Sugar Bowl opponent and we will try and get that 3rd SEC in a row national title.

Just like the 90s. If both are good it gives both of us
a one up at the end to get into that MNC game so
hard to make. I was really impressed by JPW and
Julio. If you had a few more WRs it would
be tough to cover. Julio was like a one man receiving corp.

I feel sad for them and great for them at the same time.

They proved a lot going 12-0 during the regular season and led the Gators more than once during a great SEC Championship game.

12-1 going into the bowl season isn't exactly chopped liver.

JP Wilson played well and Julio is an absolute beast, but I think I was most impressed by Coffee. That guy hits his holes quick and runs HARD. There's no reason he shouldn't be considered one of the premiere rb's in college football. Great game Tide, this was a game that really lived up to it's hype!

I'm scared to see what Saban does with a whole team of his recruits. I predict an Alabama national championship in the next 3 years.

Well buddy I predict Florida winning it this year!
 Damn it...

I really think that with another semi dominant reciever on the field with Julio and the stable of backs we will have next year when you have the possibility of Ingram being #3 if Richardson lives up to his potential we will be back in contention again next year.

Granted we are losing a couple of HUGE producers with Andre, Rashad, and maybe Cody but we also have some young and hungry guys coming in with a lot of potential who have had a chance this year to learn a lot from these guys.

I will certainly take Chapman, T. Love, Boswell, and McClain coming back with Hightower, J. Harris, man this list could go on forever and its not even including Fluker and anyone else that we will be bringing in in February.

We have a bright future ahead of us guys and I expect that if not next year we will be right back in within at least 2 years.

Honestly, my biggest concern for next season is in the offensive trenches. We are going to have some young olineman who are going to have to step up. I believe they can, and I also believe with Fluker and possibly Massie coming in, that we may have only a slight dropoff. Combine the fact that we will have Smelley and Peek at TE and I think we have a chance to be just as good. The future is definitely bright!!

I agree with you and think that the biggest thing is going to be the experience for these guys. I may be wrong but I think we may actually get something special when we have these young and hungry guys coming in and competing with one another and learning all together.

Plus we have at least Davis coming back who can take some of these guys under his wing and help them along.

What do you think the QB situation will be like next year? Obviously I think we have our starter but does Star have what it takes to challenge him or is he still a year or two out?

I don't like a two QB system, but I believe we may see it next year. McElroy has the spot in my opinioin, and is going to be good enough to keep it. I think Star will contribute to the team though in certain situations.

A-Day should be fun.

Are you referring to a 2 QB system where Star is more of the runner and McElroy the passer or just trying to get Star as many reps as possible knowing he could very well be our future??

How far along has Star come? When I see him on the sidelines he looks so much bigger than he did during the recruiting last year? Plus I think I have read that he has strengthened his arm a great deal. Is this accurate?
