Y'all know why he got offered don't you? Because it's Southern Cal and that's how they roll here. Take it from someone who knows. It's all about style over substance here people. It's all about the bling, bling.

Kiffin is young and brash and has that whole "street cred" thing going for him right now. The kids love him, and I guarentee you.....he saves the recruiting class for USC with his hiring. Couple that with the fact that he was able to motivate his team enough this year to not get blown out by either Florida or Alabama, and I think Kiffin looks rather attractive in some ways.

He'll fit right in Los Angeles. He talks a good game and portrays a particular image, and they'll love him provided he wins some games. With the talent USC still has, his ability to recruit, and the general status of the PAC-10, he has a couple of seasons at least before things start to go against him.

Yep, and he can push the other PAC-10 coaches' buttons and no one will ever even notice. He can pick a fight with Mike Riley at the elevator and no one will ever know about it. He can accuse Steve Sarcasian of breaking the rules and NO ONE will ever hear a word about it.

He'll fit in just fine. I just wonder if he can get the job done.

I don't like the guy, but I think it is a good fit as you do. I mean, you cant really blame the guy. He wasn't going to be successful in the SEC. I think he knows that and plus he has coached over ther before anyways, so why not go back to your roots?

The lone exception is that he can pick a fight with Jim Harbaugh at the elevator and find himself prone and bleeding. I like Harbaugh.
