That was one of the Bronco DBs that was talking. I think it was kind of stupid on the NFL's part to have press conferences for both teams divided by a partition! Shit! Even the NCAA has it better separated!! It does give a different perspective, but Cam should have manned up, been the bigger man, sucked it up, whatever you want to say, and go through the press conference. Then after he was finished, gone on his way to sulk in private. He wants to be the poster boy or role model for kids from his status in the NFL, he needs to take this experience and make himself humble and thankful for his abilities and opportunities. I have K-2 students, 550+ of them that will "Dab like Cam" when they get a chance. They need to see the side that says, "I got my ass kicked tonight, but I'm going to learn from this and get better. Denver was the better team tonight." Instead, kids see Cam pouting like a damn 3 year old that doesn't want to take a nap, so he screams and cries.

Obviously Cam missed an opportunity to represent himself in a way that he should have. Just to give some of you a different perspective, not trying to make you change your mind on Cam. Just saying there is more to the story, give this a read and watch that video.

Ive heard that claim too... but so what? First off, its the truth. Harris wasnt lying. That was their gameplan and they exploited the shit out of it and Cam choked. 2nd, even if thats what really upset him it doesnt change how he was being a little brat answering "no" or shaking his head to every other question... He was looking for a reason to walk out because he is a child. He was a child at Auburn and he is a child now. Any time he throws a pick or makes a mistake, he sulks on the sideline. He doesnt try to fire his team up and say "my bad, Ill get make up for it next time", he sulks. When Atlanta beat that ass late in the season he did the same shit, sulked like a little child. He wants to dab and take selfies on the sideline when everything is going great but cant handle the criticism when he sucks.His attitude goes through the team too, he WILL be a cancer to that team. Im saying it now and I 100% believe it. Eventually that entire team will carry the same attitude as Cam Newton, all that talent is thrown away if he cant grow up.

Yeah thats not the case. The reporter asked him what it was like to pretty much let his team down but if you watch Cam wasn't even paying attention to the reporter. Chris Harris, a Bronco DB was being interviewed just a few feet away and he was talking loud enough that Cam could hear everything that was saying. He said that their gameplan was to stop the run and force Cam to throw on them and they knew Cam couldnt throw on them. That upset him (because the truth hurts) and he walked away like a little child.

You're right, I've never said he handled it correctly. He missed a huge opportunity to further improve his brand but he failed. Cam is 26 and I'll go out on a limb and have the opinion he didn't have the greatest role models around him teaching him how to handle himself. Hell, I'm not sure I handled myself correctly in my mid 20's at times. I hate to lose, but I don't think I'd ever acted like this after a loss, but I've never been on a stage of this magnitude after a loss. Cam wasn't the only person that "choked". Offensive line was owned, RB wiffed on a few blocks (almost looked intentional), receivers dropped passes, etc.

I can easily separate the athlete from the person, same as I can separate Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, Pete Rose, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Deion Sanders, Ray Lewis, etc.

I really question him most for pulling away from the melee for the loose ball near the end of the game, when he had to know that the game was over if Denver came up with it. It gives the appearance that he had already conceded the game. His own defensive unit had played an extraordinary game themselves, and deserved better.

I agree with you all on here. He was shown how to play the game, but not how to take a defeat. That is because of his father too. During the game he had not been hit that much all year. Six sacks and how many hurry, I bet he still having bad dreams of that Denver Defense. But you know he stopped playing when he did really try going for the ball.
