Worthy is currently committed to Michigan. He visited Alabama yesterday for the Auburn game.
I've heard his name since the last of the spring with a lot raving over his potential often referring to him as a 5-star talent.
I mention him today because of the current restrictions on recruiting: no on campus meetings or face to face contact with recruits. His visit was unofficial yesterday; paid for on his own dime. To make that trip from California to Tuscaloosa, now? If anything it goes to show he's serious.
I've had a few tell me he's headed to Tuscaloosa but not enough to convince me to call him "Bama Bound." But I'm pretty damn close for a few reasons. One, mentioned earlier with he and his mom in town (paying their own way.) Two, why would a highly recruited wide receiver want to attend Michigan in the shape that their in today?
And what really catches me eye is he's said "I'm announcing on the 16th" when he's already committed? Announcing what?
