Alabama is down to 22 commitments, as three-star guard Xavier Hill has de-committed from the Crimson Tide, his coach confirms to BamaOnLine.


The Olive Branch (Miss.) product had joined UA's 2020 class in June following an official visit to campus, but had not been back to campus since that trip.


At 6-foot-3, 325 pounds, Hill is rated the No. 27 guard and the No. 459 overall player in the country, per the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings.

JMO but I believe Nick takes early commits (pretty good players) to get the game rolling and then upgrades as needed. We've seen it time and time again. Recruiting is a tuff business from both the staff and the players.

Coach A.."Lets allow him to commit while we look around for a better player"
