🏈 Worst Bama atmosphere game ever?

1968 Gator Bowl. Had buried Pat Trammell 18 days previously. Team flew to Jacksonville, fulfilled their obligation to play in the game, and got the hell out of there. IMO, Pat's death at that time of year effected Coach Bryant's ability to prepare Bama for a Bowl for many years to come. It would be 1975 before Bama won another one.

Has to be the Music City Bowl against VT. Total thumping of our team in some of the worst conditions ever.

That was maybe the worse.....i had tics and got the flue...sold tics and stayed at home... even flu was better then going to game....
Couple others....sun bowl vs army on Christmas day....( i think) really ....
Fiesta bowl...vs Louisville....long expensive trip to get thumped by the Cards

To this day, not really sure why I put forth the effort to make the Independence Bowl in Shreveport in 2006. Shula was gone and Joe Kine was the man. We were stinking it up and I was freezing up in the stands. We made a comeback that came up short and I got sick as a dog. Went through Texas as a consolation prize but man that was a long trip. Worst away game ever.

The year we lost to Mississippi state at BAMA was pretty bad . Fans hollering from the stands for Shula to earn his fucking keep as he jogged to the tunnel..

I know the atmosphere in my truck on the drive home was the pits .... me and my wife argued the whole ride home just because state out BAMAed BAMA

@undefined,
2006 Mike Shula's last season. Bryant-Denny Stadium Alabama vs Duke the team was booed as it left the feel at halftime most pathetic effort I've ever seen by Alabama team

Didn't Alabama win that game by like 30? lol I can think of many, MANY more pathetic showings.
Also this text is about the worst atmosphere and seeing the Alabama's pathetic play and being booed off the field at Bryant-Denny was a horrible atmosphere final score was Alabama 30 Duke 14
