🏈 Worried about the O-Line?

If you are worried about the O-Line after yesterday's game, check out the game thread from last year's home opener. The O-line comments made me LOL! I keep hearing people say how far behind this line is compared to last year.

Only issue with comparing it to WKU is that we've had a "meh performances" in some aspects in every game so far. Last year the WKU proved to be an aberration. This year we have yet to see a complete game in the team up to this point. its not just the oline that concerns me.

Looking back to last year at this point in the season, we did not have issues converting on 3rd down, the defense did not give up big plays (especially on 3rd down), communication was never an issue, and penalties or mental errors were a rare occurrence.

IMHO we have more than just offensive line issues. It goes on both sides of the ball. At this point we certainly don't deserve to be ranked #1 if people remove any crimson tinted glasses. Yea we are undefeated but I can think of a few other teams that have looked more impressive than us up to this point or have played a more complete game overall than us. This year it's like I do not know what team is going to show up. VT game our offense struggled against a supposed physical VT defense. TAMU game our offense was great but our defense was lit up and had mental breakdowns. CSU both sides of the ball were meh. So that's 3 different tide teams we've seen this season. I don't know about you guys but I'm ready to see some consistency in all phases of the game. Thankfully ST has been amazing this year, which has accounted for many of our points.

I hope they can get whatever "communication" issues fixed pronto because we will not make it to Atlanta otherwise.
