A player from a rival team of Alabama's just tied the all-time low score for the Wonderlic Test. For those that don't know what that is, the Wonderlic is a long time NFL staple for assessing intelligence, knowledge, and both while under some measure of pressure.
This all-time record is something that no school wants to be associated with, and yet now one of our rivals holds it until someone else reaches a new low. Sad actually. Not sad less so for the Athletic Department, than for the academic institution. Having remained academically eligible for at least three years within the school, the test results suggest strongly an in ability to READ. This is the level of "how does that happen" that spawns investigations.
I find this remarkable when you consider that just 12 months earlier our own Crimson Tide was all the Buzz because a new all-time high score by one of our own on the same test was leaked.
I suppose the point of this ramble is realizing the success of "the Process" beyond lines. Truly remarkable.
