The Blue Raiders are fresh off a 70-14 opening win over Jackson State and bring their hurry up spread attack to Tuscaloosa this weekend. This one should not be anything resembling close, just on the talent disparity between the two teams. It will serve as a test of Alabama's revamped secondary and its tweaked approach to defending the hurry up, and perhaps it will be a warm up for the more talented offense that Ole Miss will bring in a week from Saturday.

Alabama came through the Wisconsin game with no significant injuries, at least none that I am aware of. Look for the Tide to win big, and to easily cover the 34.5 point spread.

Taking the money line on Bama to win seems like a large number (-23,000) but, interestingly enough, comparing to last year it's probably in fourth place for highest dollar amount.

As I recall, the biggest last year was 100/34000

I don't know if I will or not. I'd like to see the O/U before I make up my mind.

@psychojoe like the 34.5. I'm not as confident as he is. I can see 14 garbage points against the 3's and 4's. I could see them managing a TD in the first half with a defensive breakdown. Think about that ... 21 from MTSU means Bama has to put up 56 to cover. 49 -14 covers ... slim margin for error on these huge lines.
