Just to set up this answer, consider the adage we've heard time and time again, "The SEC cannibalizes itself."

No, it's not Bama...but, I'm sure you've already realized that.

No, it's not Florida or LSU. In fact, we have to go back to the first season the BCS system was instituted—1998. That should give a lot of you guys the answer.

It's Tennessee who won back to back SECC's in '97, and '98.

It was a bit of a shock to me that Spurrier had never won back-to-back SECC's and as equal of a surprise it wasn't accomplished in the BCS era.

I'm not. I've heard "but they didn't even win their division" too many times.

To someone who isn't an SEC fan and hasn't had a team in the national picture I'm sure they'd think we've won more.

We spent so much time at 21 and 12 thinking it's now 23 and 15 does seem...just weird.
