In August of 2014 SDS compiled a list of the head coaches in the SEC and their respective salaries. They don't list Derek Mason's contract details (Vandy normally doesn't release these details since she's a private university) but CoachesHotSeat lists his compensation at 2.25 million per year. (How they came up with that figure, I don't know. I suspect it's one of those "contract is rumored to be...)

Stoops just received a contract extension to push his pay just under 3.6 million per.
Butch Jones just received an extenstion and his compensation is just under 3.6 million as well.
Hugh Freeze has verbally agreed to a new deal at Ole Miss at 4 million per...
Mullen is in the midst of negotiations on his extension; he's making 3 million per now.
Pinkel is getting 3.4 million per as reported by the USA Today which differs from what SDS reports.

So, have you guys done the cursory math? Yet?

Those "Dawgs" don't get off the porch or run...

I'm one that doubts UF fans will like what Mac brings to the field. It's vastly different than the offenses they've had success running in Gainesville and I can easily envision that group being upset with 24-17 type wins.

Tennessee coach Butch Jones' contract extension increases the buyout he would have to pay if he chooses to leave before the end of the next two seasons.

Under terms of the contract addendum released Wednesday, Jones would owe the university $4 million if he chose to leave before March 2016.

He'd owe $3 million if he opted to leave between March 1, 2016, and Feb. 28, 2017. He would owe $2 million if he chose to depart from March 1, 2017, to Feb. 29, 2020.

Jones' original contract called for him to pay $3 million if he chose to leave before March 2016 and $2 million if he left before March 2019.

Tennessee announced Monday it was extending Jones' contract through 2020 and increasing his annual pay to $3.6 million.
