Corey is about all they have. I've seen him play a ton due to fantasy, so he's a personal favorite. He's not Gordon, but he is special. Hits all the check marks as a back. Highlights are definitely worth the watch....volume warning.

We've talked about the possibility of depth issues at RB and their situation isn't as good. I doubt that'll have a bearing on the first game unless they try to ride Corey Clement for 30-35 carries.

Speaking of QB's...consider what is going on with CPC and Tanner McEvoy. He's been at the QB position, DB, and WR since last fall.

Yea, up until this year they've had multiple RBs to rotate going back about a decade. Might not be as successful this season. Could put a lot of pressure on Clement to produce and teams will stack the box for sure. I don't expect him to fair too well against Bama for that reason, but their schedule after that is soft.

They can still ride him to 100 yards and 1 TD. Not that bad for a RB2. I havent made up my mind though if i will start him. Im pretty loaded at RB.

They seem to produce good RBs even if the guys aren't big names. They will have some success running on us. We just need to keep them out of the Endzone. We need to keep their main RB from having a game like Ezekiel had. He wasn't really that good of a RB...

I hope we are taking them more seriously than we did OSU. We did get a wake up call. But that call started with the Barn game.

You couldnt be more wrong. Ezekiel is a bad ass who should have had a huge season but didnt get the ball enough early on due to CUMs style of offense. I recognized his talent last summer by watching tape on him then drafted him knowing what a stud he would be, despite none of the pundits talking about him.

I won't be surprised if Corey tops 100. He could get that easy if he breaks a big one, but I'm hoping his long gains are in the 8yd range as opposed to 12-15yd chunks. I'm sure getting back to a dominating run defense is paramount for the coaches. Should be a complete 180 from the banged up mess that we saw last. That's what I envision and hope for anyway.

Terry, to answer your question from way back in the thread, they had me at 59-0. Call me overly optimistic, I think this Bama team is going to be way special. I think the Tide matches up well in the opener. I guess we'll see...

This team is special and our front 7 in the fatty package will be beast. Like I said before this will be a Bama vs Michigan type game.

This team for months and months has been told you lost to Ohio fing State. Time and time again, you don't deserve to be number 3, you won't make it through your schedule without 4 losses etc. Day in and day out, eventually that turns hard work into football rage. This kind of happened last year and look what happened. Our down year we win the sec. This team will be really good, buckle up.

We don't know quite what to expect, but if Wisconsin is going away from their run heavy approach of the last 10 years or so, they will be playing away from what they recruited for in all but their last class. If they do that, we will blow them off the field, and we may do that anyway.

I agree that we helped make him look like a bad ass, as did Oregon. But going into the B1O championship game he had like 1,200 yds rushing. He got over 600 in those last 3 games when you would think teams were keying on him as they had a green QB. But he still finished 3rd i. The B1O behing Gordon (700+ yds behind) and he kid from I Diana who played less games and has less carries. So going into our game, I sure didn't see him as a bad ass. But you made a good call drafting him in your fantasy league. He had the 3rd most carries in his conference and was 3rd in yards so he got his share. Nobody was going to have more carries than Gordon, Wisc was run 1st, 2nd and 3rd team... Be interesting to see what kind of year he has this year. I suspect their offense will click better this year. Urban's 3rd year with more guys with his system engrained in them. They will be a tough squad on all sides of the ball for sure.
