🏈 Winston Case and "We want ___"?

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything regarding the Winston hearing? I suspect he'll get off with not even a tap on the wrist, but was curious as if anyone has heard anything.

Also, is it me, or has there been a lot less "We Want Bama" chatter this year? Think no one wants a piece of us knowing we'll beat them up or what? Just looking for some opinion on this one.

The difficulty with such cases as this is that without corroborating testimony it boils down to 'he said' versus 'she said'. In my working years in management I found that such cases resulted in little more than a slap on the wrist.

The appeals process will be delayed long enough for Shameis to complete their remaining games ( conference championship, CFP games). It's not the first time Jimbo has ignored/covered actions of his quarterback. It was no secret Jemarcus Russell had an "issue" with "Purple Drank" and I strongly suspect that had a lot to do with his failures at the professional level.

I read where the school governing body that is hearing this case has up to 10 school days to issue their verdict. I assume his attorneys will draw the sessions out as long as possible in order to push the end of that 10 day clock into the spring semester. That wouldn't be hard and it would allow him to play all remaining games.

Huh, if any of us think this cat is going to do well in the NFL, is totally misguided. I think RGIII is 100 times better than Winston both athletically & morally, see where that got him?

Even if Shameis is a high draft pick, he will not last nor his money...he will be toast soon enough.

Winston sucks. He is an average quarterback at best. Without Greene, they would have lost three games last year and about four this year. He has been bailed out, but made to look great. We all know how the media loves to jump on a story before it happens so they're made out to look like prophets. Winston will make his money in the NFL by some stupid team signing him to a contract, but he will not make it. He can throw a fastball, but I have never seen him throw a laser on the football field. I would take Blake Sims over Winston. Folks may think I'm crazy for saying that, but as a whole, give me Blake Sims as a college quarterback and leader of my time, not some loudmouthed attention seeking dipshit.

Oh, y'all mean Jameis Russell? Jamarcus Winston? I think famous Jameis will indeed escape any repurcussions of his actions at FSU and he will indeed be drafted high up by a desperate NFL team (NOTE: it will NOT be Oakland who has already been stung by an immensely talented yet selfish, immature and undisciplined QB named Jamarcus Russell AND who already has Derek Carr who is playing very well). And I will further predict that famous Jameis will ultimately be a bust due to a combination of being extremely selfish, immature, and undisciplined along with a huge guaranteed signing bonus and him not being the sharpest tack in the box.
