I know Wimp gets brought up on here alot during basketball season. Thought some of you might appreciate this. I was in Alexander City this weekend (work) and killed some time in between games at a huge thrift store they have in there. Stumbled across this when I was in there for ten bucks...

I've always been appreciative of Wimp the basketball coach and what he put on the court. I don't know why he is asked to do Bama games when he's not a fan of the program. It's often more than multiple generation gaps manifesting itself, Wimp's comments often have a bitterness to them that smacks of a personal dislike. And what makes him the absolute worst at what he does he starts seeing and calling the game from the opponent's point of view. I've been around long enough to know what that means.

Weird, I seem to recall him getting into it with the Roundtable crew this year for their criticism (according to him, unfair) of Alabama basketball...

Weird because you heard him say that to the roundtablers or weird because you also heard him calling a Bama game from the other sides perspective? Wimp is always slapping their ears back when he is in the mood and they always finish the radio segment with "I love you."
