If Texas Tech wins Saturday...is it possible that they take over the #1 ranking since we will not be playing :?: My guess is that they will jump us...Not that it really makes any difference when it comes to the NC.

We may lose a few #1 votes, but they won't jump us.

IMO...I will gladly get jumped in the polls, if it means good health for the final games.

So I went back to look at all the bowl projections from ESPN for each week.

Week 8 made me laugh.

They make sure to say Bama is out of the title game because they barely beat Ole Miss, yet Florida who lost to Ole Miss replaces Bama. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I think we have had a bullseye on our back pretty much the whole season. And I don't how dropping from one to two will remove it. If there is anything that this season has taught us, it's that if you win, the rankings take care of themselves. Like Saban said, if we go out and lose a game, what we are ranked this week won't matter. Ask PSU.

Nah, the guys need a rest. Saban said himself that they are beat up. If Bama keeps winning no one will pass them. Doesn't matter if they do, as long as Tide's still #2. I believe red raiders go down Sat. though.

I don't care if we are #1 or #2. The team needed the off week. Everything will be handled on the field. Cant worry about the other stuff.

If Texas Tech beats Oklahoma, they will definitely jump to the #1 spot, and rightly so.

They already have the computer vote on 'Bama and with a victory over Oklahoma, they will most assuredly get the human vote.

Not only will they get it, but it will be a sweep. The Harris Interactive, USA Today/Coaches, and the 6 computer votes will all go to TT.

But, as has already been said, it matters very little. We are still in the NC game if we beat Auburn and Florida so all it is at this point are just #'s that have no meaning to 'Bama fans.
