šŸˆ Will Anderson—now a consensus All-American— wins AP SEC DPOTY and Bronko Nagurski Awards

I'm actually surprised his draft stock hasn't shrunk this year. Barely cracked the Top 50 on ProFootballFocus and went from grading out at 90 percent last year to barely over 80 percent this year. His coverage grade was awful (granted whatever genius thought he was better suited doing that than rushing the passer half the time is at fault there) but his pass rush grade dropped, too. Actually graded out better against the run than as a pass rusher.
Total misuse of talent! Instead of letting him just ā€œpin his ears backā€ and go get the QB, our Einstein DC thought it best to either drop WA in coverage or put him inside with the opportunity for not one but two 300+ pounders could double team him, or have WA take 3-4 steps and watch the QB throw the ball as he did in the UT game. Glad that the NFL looks at potential and knows that WA is a bad man and will be Top 5!

Although I agree that dropping WA into coverage is a bit goofy I also watched a bunch of times WA on the edge and get stopped repeatedly by linemen

If you are referring to the Viles game in particular, I believe our coaches went with the dreaded ā€œmushā€ rush where we basically let anyone that can throw a ball, throw it. There was a time late in that game that Will took the LT and put him in Hookers lap, causing an int. Another time, he got in for a sack.
