🧑‍🍳 why is five guys so expensive 😳

You do know you can ask for more seasonal salt.

Yes, but you ask for anything extra at a Jack's, you do it at your own risk. I just want to get my food as quickly as possible and pray that the order isn't screwed up too bad. God forbid trying to give them a coupon or discount code from their own app. You may as well be speaking Korean and showing them a copy of the periodic table.

We have two Jack here, in the county. Both are different. One I don't like going to it, the other I like more.

My travels indicate that store to store, biscuits can differ in quality to a large degree. Same for Bojangles. They just reopened the Bojangles in Northport under new ownership after closing it for a few months, and the biscuits are much better. The best Bojangles biscuits... McCalla. At least they used to be, it's been a bit since I've stopped there. But they were always a 10/10 for a good while. Both of the Jacks near me do pretty good on the biscuits. They ain't 1985 Hardee's, but they ain't bad. And Chick-fil-A has dramatically improved the quality of their biscuits over the last 10 years.
Having traveled a good bit through the Carolinas over the last fifteen years, I've hit a good number of Bojangles (they are Charlotte based). It's one of the few fast food places I will eat breakfast, really it's just them, Jack's and CFA. Bojangles are now over 800 stores in 19 states. I've found that their employees are among the friendliest I see. Typically that will go to the culture and leadership of an organization. I commonly see Bible study groups in the Oxford and Pell City stores, and Christian music being played in many locations.

You're right, Chick-fil-A has improved their biscuits over the years. They were gummy and gooey for years.

EDIT: I will also eat at Biscuitville, another Carolinas-based biscuit place. Closest to here are Greenville and Columbia metro areas.

It probably is, I was just hating on the amount of meat. All I really taste at Krystal's is mustard and onion so figured just onion at white castle.
I can't remember what was on their burger. It was a LONG time ago. I just remembered, no mustard. Same meat, same onion...but they had something? Have to "Grok" it I suppose. 🙃
