🏈 Why can't Nick Saban and Alabama come back and do it again?

Two out of three is more than special. Three out of four is more than possible.

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - Nick Saban let his guard down for just a moment Saturday.

In the middle of his prepared speech, toward the close of the celebration in Bryant-Denny Stadium, the Alabama coach said one thing that sounded like it came straight from the heart he rarely shows to the outside world.

"I think winning two national championships in the last three years is pretty damn special," he said.

Wow. Did you catch that?

He actually put the process aside for a moment. He did something he asks his players, coaches and fans not to do.
He looked at the results of his work. He looked at the results and saw that they were good, very good, and he didn't mind saying it.

Good for him.
