I feel as if we kind of forced the ball to Ridley last weekend. Whether it was productive or not, I feel like Kiffin needed to appease him by getging the ball to him. I hope he gets it this weekend and is able to make a big difference.

The back half of Mississippi defense looks like they are vulnerable, being young and thin and their OL and running backs are nothing to write home about. That leaves their HUNH scheme and a talented QB who will take chances when you press. And our boys will be pressing. If we can't deal with that, we are not ready for prime time, cause we have tougher places to go than Oxford.

Stewart, being a veteran, is a beast when he gets the ball. He looks for a hit. Ridley made me kinda scratch my head a couple times saturday. The first was in the drive when we missed the first FG attempt. He took a sweep to the right and it was a damn good run, but then it looked like he tried to juke a ghost. There was no one in front of himand he cuts left. Lol. He would have gotten maybe a few more yards if he had stayed right. He had the blockers.

The second was on his touchdown. Why on earth did he let up on his run at the one yardline? He took a good lick by doing that. It was almost like he just stopped running and thought he was gonna walk it in with two defenders right in front of him. 99.9% of the time when a receiver makes that run, they run more toward the corner and speed up, maybe even dive. But he looked like a dog that ran out of leash.
