How funny...after all the crap I heard about Johns...and how Auburn recruits fine quality players that would never do something like that.

Regardless though...it's a shame some of these guys would throw away such bright futures and so much money for something as dumb as this...

Exactly. I'm to the point that I'm no longer surprised by the stupidity of professional athletes.

Wonder who they would have voted for if they were the voting type?

That is so weird. College to the NFL to small town drug dealer, all by the age of 25.
Well...they do say "Auburn men and women believe in these things, I [they] believe in Auburn and love it."

Dummies. I bet they've even got their message boards locked up over this. :D

The kid was a true talent at the high school level but I don't think he really reached his potential in college. It's a shame that such talented individuals make some of the most costly decisions. I wouldn't rub it in too much. We have our share in for the same thing. Sherman Williams comes to mind along with Jimmy Johns.

You guys surprise me. It seems like, to me anyway, that you are somewhat happy that this happened? Rubbing it in? Come on.

Well I, for one, never said I was happy per se..just that I found the irony in the situation. I think it's a horrible thing to happen to any team. I can only speak for myself though.

I couldn't help but think of the tragic mistakes made by our own Sherman Williams, who is still in prison. The last statement I read about from Sherman was "I'm not going to let this place break me".
