No long snapper?

Terrance Cody on a Mt. Rushmore? Hardly. I mean, did he even do much statistically outside of block a couple field goals? Hardly.

One might say "but he was a space eater that occupied blockers and freed up LBs"

To that I say: maybe so, but HARDLY top 4 all-time in the Bama Football Annals.

Post your choices bud.

And Cody is a 2-time All-American, is one of the most recognizable players of his era, and played the part in the most memorable Bama play of the past 25 years. So he has a very strong case.

LBer is definitely the hardest to narrow down. Like insanely hard. Wanted to include CJ, but who do you take off?? And just from the last decade you've got Demeco and Rolando as well. Kinda didn't want to include both DT and Biscuit since they played at the same time, but one is the single season sack leader and the other was a 3-time All-American. Lee Roy needs to be on there, and Lowe is the all-time tackles leader.

Just to point out what "we" are trying to build, Mt. Rushmore has Teddy Roosevelt along side of Washington, Lincoln and Jefferson. These weren't necessarily the greatest presidents leading up to the time of construction. Washington represented the birth of the United States; Jefferson represented the growth of the United States; Lincoln represented the preservation of the United States; and Roosevelt represented the development of the nation. The primary purpose for the creation of Mt. Rushmore was tourism.
