I remember seeing some guy on our squad make a catch that I never seen play. Just curious to whom it was and why he was out there. Was someone hurt that gave him a chance to step in for a play or something ?

I think it was Mike Williams. Anyone know why he stepped in ? I would assume because our starter was out ?

Collin Peek should ring a bell somewhere?
MW was his replacement but has played in several games. Do not think that was his first catch either.

He, along with Smelly picked up the slack when Colin Peek went out with the injury.

Colin Peek stretched or sprained his ACL during warm ups. Something during contact drills. He was in on the initial kick off coverage and never came back in. Was in a knee brace the rest of the game. Williams is a RS Freshman from Pickens county. Tall joker, just needs to add a few lbs.

the highlights showed that Peek tripped over his own player while blocking during pre-game warmups...one of the other guys rolled over onto or fell into Peek's knee was what it told/showed

it's an MCL strain. From the looks of how it happened on film, I'd say that's probably right. he is already playing this year with a fracture in his left foot...tough guy, doesnt want to miss any of his senior season...i dont blame him

peek has a nice future ahead of him in the nfl.. hope it is nothing serious

Peek has been my favorite receiver this season. He continues to impress. When they mentioned at the beginning he was out I knew we'd struggle more than usual. Hope he recovers quickly and can make the LSU game.

Speaking of Peek, why do I get the feeling, considering UT was defensive scheme was to stop Ingram, that Peek was going to be a focal point. Best laid plans.
