🏈 Who is Missouri's biggest SEC rival?

Missouri hasn't spent long enough in the SEC to have a traditional rivalry at this point, but according to the Tigers' fan base, the program's biggest rival is Georgia. The results of the Rock M Nation poll had fellow SEC East member South Carolina second and Texas A&M third.

Fans were asked to rank the conference teams as rivals while taking into account factors such as rivalry moments, fans and intangibles.

The complete rankings were as follows:

As odd as this may sound, this actually makes sense to me. I imagine that first SEC game they played, at home against UGA, where they were just worn out still hurts.

I would have bet on Arkansas.

I wouldn't have had a guess here because I don't think anyone considers them an exciting game to get up for. And that's being said after they have won the East the last two years. They offer no excitement for me. Kentucky and Arkansas excite me more as opponents.

You know.. I have to give Missouri credit and give Pinkle a bunch of credit. I thought they would come into the SEC and be another Kentucky or Vandy level team but they have come in and gone to the SEC championship two times and beat some great teams. They do it without big name recruits and it seems like they are continually developing a stud defensive player who out produces his athletic ability.

He does more with less than anybody. I know the SEC east has been down for a few years but still they have come in and kicked a little butt. They have now been to as many SEC championship games as Georiga, Tennessee and more than anyone else in the east besides Florida. Not bad for a team that has only been here for 4 years.

Secretly I hope they fail because I love when traditional SEC powers rule the roost but give them credit they have earned their way so far.
