Alabama wore white helmets in the past, notably in the 1983 and 1984 seasons. They also popped up a few times in the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

The guy has no clue about Bama football. The white helmet was the norm in the 50's. The 1st time BAMA wore the crimson helmet was against Texas in the Bluebonnet Bowl in 1960.
