UGA and the university of west georgia. Hate to say it, but those two are probably going to be the toughest, and both on the road. Tennessee isn't quite there yet and with Arky at home, I think we handle them relatively easily (compared to last year at least).

Georgia. As talented as the front 7 will be, Chubb is a force to be reckoned with. Along with that, Coker's first real road test in a hostile environment will be a question mark. I'm sure Gameday will be there again, and UGA will be wanting revenge for the SECCG in '12 (though they wanted revenge for the blackout too). Defensively, Georgia is still respectable despite having some bad games. I've often wondered how well Alabama will do against physical running backs lately. Ellis for OSU, Payne for Auburn, Mason for Auburn, Hill for LSU in '12..Alabama's run defense has had some games where they've struggled to gang tackle and its cost them. I remember there used to be a statistic that Alabama held for the longest time on holding RB's under 100 yard. Now, though its still impressive what they'v done, I've seen a lot more arm tackles and missed tackles in open space than we used to have. So it'll be interesting to see if they improve and hold Chubb down.

Other than that, really there's nothing unless the offensive line isn't as good as we will think it will be for the upcoming year and Georgia's new QB puts on a Garcia-esque performance. I don't know of anyone on Georgia's roster who's a threat to the secondary, but all in all, if the defense shuts down Chubb, that puts the game in their QB's hands, and I like 'Bama's chances.

@AU will be hard as usual, but I have Johnson struggling this year, along with their defense putting up similar performances like last year.

Miss St. I know some will laugh, they lost a lot but Dak is a proven leader. It does not matter what team has done what the last few years it has been a pretty close game. We just seem to always play to there level even when we should probably beat them by 28.

I went with Georgia and LSU. The analysts seem to dig Tennessee quite a bit but i guess i just have to see them play before I am a believer. For Georgia an away game helps and its going to be early in the season while our new QB is still getting adjusted. They have a new QB as well but their running game will get yard despite us having a very talented DLine. LSU like Bama seems to have all of the pieces there except for QB. Chavis leaving could ultimately be a big blow to them going forward but the defense that is there is still talented and veteran so they should be fine for 2015 at least. They also have a slew of good RBs and WRs as well. They have a deeply talented team and the QB will have more game experience than Bamas.

Why not Auburn. Their offense just seems to have to be way more electric to make up for their defense and im not sure Jeremy Johnson will be able to do enough with his legs to destroy the better teams with solid front 7s. He should be a very good passing QB. I just expect Bamas to CBS to really step up this year. However to counter that, safety is still a big question mark. Should be an interesting year with such a tough schedule.

I went with @UGA and @Tha Barn. Went with those simply because they are on the road. Chubb will be a damn bowling ball to try and tackle while they break in a new QB. Whether it is Coker or Cornwell at the helm, I think we struggle with QB play on the road.
As for the Barn turds, I'm not sold on this bunch like the media is, but those assholes have a way of getting a lucky bounce or two go their way.
I'm an optimist and so I actually think we run the table. These two may be our closest games of the year.

Gotta agree with the Georgia and Auburn picks.

I think Georgia is a national title contender if they get competent QB play. Add in the road part and it starts looking really scary.

Auburn is not going to be as good as their preseason hype, but like stated above, crazy things happen with that team. Malzahn hasnot really had a ton of success against us excluding last years deep ball debacle. However having Muschamp on staff may provide him some insights into how to attack our D.

I say The Hogs and the DeadOaks. Arkie will enter the season with a ton of confidence and if they get rolling in their games leading up to Oct 13, they will be tough. Plus Bama will be coming off a road game in Athens.

@Bammerboy321 expressed concern about the boys running up against a physical running offense, namely Georgia's. The same applies for me here. If the D allows allows Allen to get into a rythym this will be a tough game.

The DeadOaks game will depend on how beat up Alabama is going into Jordan/Hare, and with their schedule that could prove to be deciding factor.

I'd agree with this, but I think Ark will be tougher than many think. I don't think they lost much of anything from last year

UGA will never win it all. They're just like Clemson in that regard. Their fan base is secretly content with 9 wins every year. I know, I live amongst them.

I took LSU and Auburn. I feel LSU is so athletic and always plays is hard that they have a great shot of beating us, especially after the four games in a row before them. Yes, we have a week off before, but those four SEC games are going to be slobberknockers.

Auburn will match up well with us. They have athletes, recruited well, and Gus Malzahn runs a great offense. I don't think Muschamp will turn the defense around this quickly, but they will be improved off what they have trotted on the field lately. Rivalry games are always competitive for the most part. With a lot riding on this game it should be a good one.
