In my view, in my lifetime, Alexander has probably received the most publicity. Julio is certainly beginning to reach that level.

We've got Lee Roy, Bart, and a host of others in football. Baseball brings another group of talented guys.

Five or six people come to mind but I can't make up my mind. Who is your choice?

My first thought was you were referring to them doing well in a professional sport, but after reading your wording I'm not sure if you are limiting this to just professional sports or what they do after college as you said professionally. Can you clarify that?

Bear Bryant or Robert Horry would be the ones that come to the top of my mind.

If you are talking about best known, Namath would have to be at or near the top of the list. Bill Battle was only moderately successful as a coach, but enormously successful as a business man. T.R. Dunn had a long career as a player in the NBA, and now an even longer career as an assistant coach in the NBA. He was never considered a super star but what he did, he did very well. If your criteria is championship rings, I agree with Terry, Horry is the guy. John Croyle turned down the NFL to work with disadvantaged children to try to salvage their lives, and has been doing so for over forty years now.

It all depends on how you define successful.

Sorry for my ignorance here, but who do we have other than Joe Sewell that went on to have a prestigious baseball career?

I understood the question about like @planomateo did ... success after UA and Alum.

For baseball, we can start with none other than Mel Allen.

If we want to go with just players we've got Alex Aleva, Tommy Hunter, David Robertson (joins Sewall as the only two to play on a World Series team.)
