Now it's working for me.

Yeah, something was wrong with the link. Can y'all tell me the best way to post a link? I tried to copy and paste directly into my post, but it wouldn't let me. Clicking on the link button above and filling in the blank takes way too much time. I'm obviously doing something wrong.

I think CrimPir just means that they are blowing over this story while the balls to face guy is getting a ton of media attention. Both are bad, but it appears they only are after the Bama fan.

I'd go with what Terry said. Had they caught this on video or a photo then there would be media coverage. Same for the stabbing/robbing victims. It's too hard to track down a suspect when your only clue is two young guys in button down shirts who were LSU fans. We all know that there was some animosity by the LSU bunch after that one same as the Bama bunch. So back to kindergarten where your parents taught you to not talk to strangers. This is a good example, sometimes, albeit unfairly, things are going to happen. Just take the snide comments and smile and enjoy the fun with your family and friends. His mistake was making a comment to the guy, he should have just realized it was a bitter fan looking for someone to be mad at. Best thing to do is just pretend that they don't exist and keep walking.

Father of LSU victim in Krystal video came forward, arrest warrant says

One day after New Orleans police said they were aware of a notorious video showing an Alabama fan placing his genitals on an unconscious LSU fan's neck, the victim's father approached LSU campus police about the incident, saying his 18-year-old son was the person assaulted in the video.

Bottom line? One is on video, one isn't.

While that's true, I think what has driven the investigation in New Orleans is the fact that the perpetrator was a Bama fan and the victim wore purple and gold. The Baton Rouge DA says he ought to be charged with felony sexual battery. If convicted, Downing may have to register as a sex offender and whenever he changes his address, he has to publish it in the newspaper. He definitely should receive some sort of punishment, but felony sexual battery is a bit overboard. What he did sure casts a black cloud over Alabama. Some Aubies on Facebook said that Downing and Updyke were the "poster boys for the Tide."

Most District Attorneys are elected officials. Where politicians are involved, politics will take precedent. His job depends on what he says publicly more than what he actually does behind the closed doors. With that said, if that idiot doesn't decide to pull his genitals out in a public setting to place them on a stranger who is unresponsive AND has the entire ordeal recorded for internet purposes, we aren't talking about this. It has been perfectly stated already, the idiot Bama fan deserves whatever he gets. Even if it means he has to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life.

When I was a kid my day said; "son, when you are about to do something ask yourself what will I tell the judge when he asks me why I thought this was a good Idea." Now I guess it is if I am videoed while doing this what will I tell the judge. This is just dumb and pathetic.

When I first saw the video I thought to myself "if I was there, I'd be trying to stop this guy from doing this." Not necessarily because I'm a good guy, but because that's how people get shot or killed! Obviously, the BAMA fan was living in the moment, and not thinking about what could have happened.

And let's face it...I don't remember the guy's age off the top of my head, but he isn't exactly a 16 year old kid. He should know damn well not to act like that.

33? Married, a pre-school child, and he is getting drunk w college kids?

Here's your sign.

The assaulter better hope he doesn't spend more time behinds bars. He could very well get reintroduced to tea-bagging, and around NOLA, the tea of choice just happens to be Community.
