| FTBL Where are we on Leadership???

I never put it together until last night when it was stated that it hasn't been since 1970 that no player from 'BAMA was selected in the draft (referring to the 2008 NFL draft).

I realize some were selected in free agency. But not one selected in the draft?

Is this true?

If this is true, this is like being hit blindsided while running down feild. You know, I should've seen it coming & now I need someone else to fix my helmet b/c I'm looking through the earhole (maybe that is why I was blindsided :?)

All that to say this  last years melt down seems to have trickled out with those who left. Not to say there are those who weren't good leaders (there were) but not enough to make a stand & tell folks how it is going to be.

The leadership has shown that it is hungry, focused, & ready to pay the price of discipline (if they haven't already). This is truly part the football season that I love.

Did anyone see towards the end of the game when Caldwell went up to one of the freshmen, maybe Hightower, and was congratulating him? I even think the commentators pointed it out.

I've seen/heard/read comments about Caldwell, McClain, R Johnson, Wilson, etc. All of which give the impression that the team has turned the corner.

It is just so hard to be sure after one game. Granted the Clemson game gave very few signs of problems...but the concern still exhists simply b/c of one game only.
