I love when he comes in...for such a big guy he is change up from TR.Some really good footwork. I still hold my breath waiting on a fumble but he has been better this year(so far) in protecting the ball.:a:

IMO he locates and hits the hole quicker than TR. Frankly....I think hes a better RB than TR. That being said....the ball protection issue does have me concerned, but it hasnt been an issue this year...so far.

How wrong was I about him... I have totally been reversed on my thoughts on him, I always thought he'd be too big to be anything but a glorified fullback but no, I love the guy now, as y'all've said, he hits the hole and finds ways to get through defenders, he's a great compliment to TR

Anyway, he's a very good straight-ahead kind of back. He even looks like a starter for half of the teams from the SEC.

He didnt look extremely happy when he was taken out of the game and Trent was brought in for his 2nd td. Lacy just sat on the sidelines chewing on his mouthpiece looking like he wanted to rips someones head off lol

Lacy runs the ball like he is trying to earn a starting position. TR runs it like he has the starting position. It is the same as Coffee/Ingram and Ingram/TR. The #2 guy is always hungrier than the starter.

I wondered about that, too. The kid got us down there with a nice run but doesn't get to score. I'm sure there's a reason for it, bit I sure didn't understand it.

speaking of Jalston, I was hoping to see him run up the middle a few times with Penn State.

I think it had more to do with him being winded after the long run than anything else. He's looked really good this year.
