Do you think those on Tobacco Road didn't want the two basketball programs?
If you recall, when the conference first expanded to 14 with 'Cuse and Pitt in 2011 the football program at UCONN was doing pretty well as well. The Huskies were in a BCS bowl (Fiesta) in 2011 as well.
