Was reading this morning and came across a comment about Mizzou's QB Frankin and a comment Mizzou's HC made in regards to him not wanting to play. WTF is going on in Columbia.

I didn't catch this a Saturday as I was traveling to Fayetteville, but damn Pinkel why'd you throw your QB under the bus publicly? At first, I was thinking maybe they are saving him for "old man football" league play, but after reading more on this...not so sure. How well does he hold up against Florida, AlabamaMissouriās quarterback situation: Whoās the quarterback for the Tigers this coming Saturday against South Carolina? Moreover, who do the Tigers want to be their quarterback? The whole deal with Missouri coach Gary Pinkel coming out and saying that James Franklin refused a painkiller injection was bizarre. Franklinās shoulder was hurting and he didnāt play in the win over Arizona State. Backup Corbin Berkstresser stepped in and led Missouri to the victory. It will be interesting to see how it plays out from here and whether or not thereās any division on the team

āHe has inflammation, irritation,ā coach Gary Pinkel said. āThereās no structural problem at all in the shoulder, absolutely none. The labrum is absolutely 100 percent. It was just too painful for him and he didnāt want to play. Itās between him and the medical staff. They make those decisions. I donāt make those decisions.ā
