💬 What's gasoline going for near ya?

Most places I've seen it's been 1.40's to 1.50's. The Sam's club in Oxford has consistently been in the upper 1.60's, which is an insult if you pay an annual fee for them to stick it to you. Many of the places are keeping their prices up to offset loss of volume, but there's a little place a few miles from me on Logan Martin Dam Road that has been selling it for 1.29 a gallon for weeks - The Dam Store.

RTR,

Tim

Crude is now negative in one measure. You actually have to pay someone to take your crude oil. That will shut down a lot of pumping and prices will skyrocket at some point.

Don't believe the drillers would stay shut down long enough for that to happen. As soon as there was an empty tanker with a storage area to go to, they would start drilling again.

Russia and the Saudis are fighting a price war to see who blinks while this is going on. They both are trying to shut down as much production elsewhere so they can consolidate power. So far it is working. If they can force wells to shut down in other places, they increase the odds they won't ever open due to the cost of reopening them.
