After watching the game saturday night and experiencing the electricity of the moment, I come away feeling spent. On one hand the opening drive to me initially seemed to be a prelude of worse things to come.
The wasted opportunities by Alabama that went by the board... leading up to a golden opportunity to snatch a victory at Jordan Hare stadium... an uncertain result that certainly was there for the taking... The lack of a big strike playmaker who rises to the top was sorely missed.
In reflection, a loss is still a loss, but it's a valuable experience for the team to build on. I believe the losing streak will now have stopped at six! Tommy Tuberville's facial contortions are to be put on display in 2008.
