🏈 What your take on J. William & H. To'o To'o

They are definitely helping the team. Jameson was open all day. He could have gone for over 200 yards had Bryce seen him a couple of times.

Henry, great linebacker. He was active, eluded blockers to make tackles, and was 100mph all day long.

We definitely won with these transfers and the schools they left are feeling it without them. Spare me with Ohio State's receiver room, because only two of them basically touch the ball, not six like they try to advertise.

I was thinking about these 2 and their situations...

I know it's a new day, but it's weird. Williams was on the opposite sideline trying to beat Alabama in the NC game just 7-8 months ago. Got beat, and joined the other team. Henry was on the rival's roster... Got beat and joined the other team.

Kevin Durant caught a lot of hell for doing the same thing. IMO these are college kids and shouldn't be held to the same standards, but the principal of the act is ultimately the same. Transfers are everywhere though so it's nearly impossible to connect all the dots. And in the same vein, if the coaches can switch sides as they constantly due, I'd be inconsistent if I didn't support the players ability to do the same. Buuuut, it feels a little different - And I do really enjoy the stories of the guys who stuck it out for 3-4-5 years to find their success at UA.

As players, what's not to like?! Williams is a burner... Straight speed and has legit length as a target. Henry is all over the field and in a good way... Not running around like a mad man, just great instincts and understanding of how plays are going to develop. He's the real deal and basically solidifies everything on that D!

Henry is a difference maker. You could see Saturday that he is a smart guy and allows #8 to be an athlete without having to think. Both #8 and #10 were in position to make plays all day. What a difference from 2019 and 2020.

Lets see what Pete and the defensive staff can do with this bunch in 2021.

To’o To’o is a stud. Can’t help but think of how much easier things must be for him having the surrounding cast at Bama vs what he had around him at UT.
Fatboy Fulmer actually got some joy out of the hire of Pruitt because it hurt Bama with JP leaving. Henry most likely would have signed with Bama from the get go and Bama doesn't have to promote Tosh and the fallout from that mistake.

We are where we are now so that is water under the bridge.......

Any updates on our Samoan Warrior LB?
It was just a stinger. He tried to come back in and the staff sat him for the rest of the day.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a lot of the guys get rest Saturday—a few a little banged up—and he's one of those.

Here's an off-topic note on HT...

I'm sure you're familiar with the gif I'll post at the bottom of this post. To'o To'o's favorite movie is Friday ... and we'll have this reaction to his play often the next two years.

What’s up Big Perm, I mean Big Worm?

"How long does recovery after a UCL injury take?

If your UCL tear can be treated without surgery, the recovery may last anywhere from several weeks to several months. It depends on the range of motion you’d like to achieve in the elbow. Your physician and physical therapist will work together to monitor your progress.

If Tommy John Surgery is recommended, the rehabilitation can take nine months to a year, and sometimes longer. Your elbow will be placed in a hinged brace to gradually increase the range of motion until you can fully extend it. If you plan to return to throwing and compete, you will need physical therapy that is more rigorous to strengthen your elbow enough to handle the stress. Everyone recovers at a different speed, but the return to your sport should never be rushed. Too much stress on the graft before it has healed increases the risk of failure."

Sure hope this is not the case To'o To'o.

Jameson Williams is elite. Yes, Ohio St has great WRs. Olave and Wilson especially. Smith-Njigba is really good but not as good as Jameson Williams. The rest are young and unproven (Fleming, Ebuka, Harrison etc).

To'oto'o is a great player. He diagnoses plays super fast which makes him play even faster, and he's plenty athletic and talented to begin with. Calls the D, seems like a good leader. Tremendous asset.

We need him on the field and healthy.
