Their lack of a real running game will certainly help us, because I think it will allow us to keep more DBs on the field, hence more speed to help contain a fairly mobile QB. I expect to see mostly Nickle packages tomorrow.

With that said, we need to get pressure on the QB. I hope to see Evans playing a good bit as he may be our best option at containment on the edge with the DL plugging the middle.

And I hate this, but it seems against these types of offenses, our LBs sit back in a zone and just minimize the scrambles or dump passes instead of attacking and forcing throws under pressure.

I feel like we will play nickel with a ton of zone. Only because if we sell out and play dime most of the game we will leave gaps to run through. Nickel will reduce the running lanes and leave a great shell to cover the pass and beat the run. I would love to see edge blitz from our CB from the short side on second down (quick screen down) to stop that crap early. We do not have to do it much just a couple of times.

Another thing we seem to be doing better this year is the D line getting their hands up and knocking down some passes at the line. Anything to rattle Kelly will help as he has pretty much been clean for their 2 cupcake games

I'm hoping Darth Foster gets to lay a god lick on him early. It doesn't have to be a sack, just something that will stick in the back of his mind whenever he thinks about taking off and running.
