I'm still not sure that kick was good.

Our seats were right behind that goal post and as soon as he kicked it I screamed "NO GOOD" and it looked like to us that it wasnt good. Everyone back at my sisters when we got back said the announcers on TV said it looked like it was good to them.

81 season at Bryant Denny. I believe it was Temple or Rutgers for homecoming. I was 10!

First game was 2008 game against Miss St. Was cold as all get out and wind was blowing and kind of rainy, but it is one of the best times I've ever had. Other than having to buy a hoodie and jacket at the stadium, that was MUCH more than I expected,mbut I didn't pack for 40 degree weather

Having been born and raised on campus and the grandson of a tenured professor at the University, I have been to my fair share of games. The first one I remember was the UT game.

October 17 ,1981 vs Tennessee. Bama wins 38-19.

I was at that game too. 1981 was the first season I really remembered paying attention to.

Bama beat Rutgers 31-7 I think.

Great game. When Julio broke free down the sideline, that had to be among the top 10 loudest plays in BDS history.

1975 vs. TCU in Birmingham sitting in the upper deck at Legion Field. This was the game that TCU running back Kent Waldrep was upended on a run and paralyzed for life.

The Green Wave was held to just 4 total first downs and only 99 yard of total offense. Joe Namath scored his first rushing touchdown of the year on a 1 yard run in the first quarter. In the second Benny Nelson scored on a 33 yard run, and later in the quarter Billy Piper intercepted a Tulane pass and ran it back 51 yards for the 21-0 lead at halftime. Hudson Harris scored on a 20 yard rush in the third quarter to provide the final points of the game. The 1963 squad finished with a record of 9-2 with a victory in the Sugar Bowl over Mississippi for Coach Bryant.

First Game was at Legion Field, my Uncle and Aunt took me, 1977, Ole Miss. We beat the snot out of them. My first Bama Bowl game was the Liberty Bowl against Illinois, Coach Bryant's Last game. I still remember him wearing that parka coat.

1974 vs Florida State. Bama won on a last minute field goal by Bucky Berry, 8-7.

Third Saturday in October 1953. Was also my first date. Little girl and I rode the trolley from Woodlawn to Legion Field. No one scored that day. 0-0 tie.:smile:

OMG... I'm the virgin in the lot. Mine was the 2009 SEC championship game; Bama and the Gators "I rivalry renewed! The best on best! For the championship of the S... E... C... Alabama playin' Florida.. it just doesn't get any better than that" (Cue the CBS theme intro!)
